Dear Parents,
Following last year’s detailed analysis of the Voices of the Learners, Parents, Staff and Community Partners, much thought and careful discussion have been devoted over recent months to the consideration of the school’s vision and how that vision could and should be updated in order to take the school forward to its centenary year and beyond.
The process involved both teaching and associate staff, governors, a wide range of learners, and also parents who were asked via the School Newsletter for their comments and thoughts.

The school has been recently informed by the Mentoring and Befriending Foundation that it has achieved Approved Provider Standard for its Peer Mentoring PLUS programme. The assessor's report indicated that the programme meets the key management and operational requirements of the Standard and is designed to deliver a quality mentoring service. The school was thanked for its highly valued commitment to mentoring. Our thanks go to Mrs Wittwer for all of her hard work in preparing the submission and for all of the ways in which she helps and supports students in her role as Learning Mentor. |
