In Year 12

Take part in the ACCA Business Challenge Competition in 2006 WGHS were overall runners up and won best marketing pitch and logo design.

In Year 13

Act out being the Monetary Policy Committee by taking part in The Times/Bank of England Target 2 point zero competition.

In 2002 WGHS achieved 3rd place in the National final (winning £3000.00)

In 2004 WGHS were runners up in the Midlands/Yorkshire & Humberside Area

In 2007 WGHS reached the Midlands/Wales Area Final
