Wolverhampton Girls High was designated Leading Edge status in April 2008.Since then we have worked collaboratively with our partnership schools i.e Our Lady St Chads Catholic Sports college , Aldersley High  Smestow Specialist Sports College and Colton Hills Community school to develop activities impacting on student achievement.
 

Leading Edge targets this year have fallen into three distinct categories:
  

• Provision for Gifted and Talented students across a range of subject areas.
   
• Developing stimulating and motivational Citizen-related learning activities.
     
• Developing new ideas and innovative practice in the delivery of MFL at Keystage 3 and 4.

  
The Leading Edge section of the school website has been set up , enabling us to share resources and information on activities that have been trialled this year as part of the project.
