Outside Agencies
Various experts come into school to help us to deliver the PSHCE programe. So expect to meet:
In Year 7:-
The school nurse who will bew dispelling the myths about pubity.
In Year 8:-
A representative from the Spurgeons Young Carers Project.
In Year 10:-
Yoga instructors who will show you one way of dealing with stress
In Year 11:-
Sixth form pupils who give you guidance on 'A' Level choices.
A representative from the Teenager Cancer Trust.
PSHCE Assessment
There will be some assessment during your PSHCE lessons but because the inteneded outcomes are often a change in attitude or a new social skill the assessment will not always be a written one.
Your progress is reported on by PSHCE teachers once a year in your full report.
