A residential fieldtrip is organised in the Spring Term of Year 12. This is to the Blencathra Fieldstudies Centre near Keswick in Cumbria. The fieldwork carried out here provides the experience and training needed for Unit 2: Applied Geography. In Year 13 a fieldwork investigation is conducted into the urban microclimates in our area. This involves students planning and executing their investigation and presenting their results through the use of GIS.. | |
