Instrumental Lessons

Instrumental music making is an important part of the Music Curriculum at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School. Many students enjoy the challenge of learning to play an instrument, and a significant number achieve a very high standard indeed. Instrumental music lessons take place during the school day on a rotational basis to ensure minimal curriculum disruption. We are proud to be a centre for ABRSM and Trinity examinations and encourage all students to take instrumental music examinations as part of their learning journey at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School. These are exams for life – they will be listed on Curriculum Vitae in years to come, recognised highly by employers and can be transferred into UCAS points upon applying to University. Your daughter’s instrumental teacher will give you the necessary advice about music examinations as and when necessary.

Please refer to the Terms and Conditions below for more information on lesson times, lesson amount, cancellation notice and payment.

Any queries regarding instrumental lessons should be sent to enquiries@wghs.org.uk FOA Miss Carr, Curriculum Leader for Music
