• All 180 places in this year group have been allocated and were offered to girls scoring 208 or above in the 11+ Entrance test.

• A Waiting List is currently in operation and will remain open until 31st December 2026. 

• Our waiting list is ranked strictly by test score and applicants may move both up and down the waiting list over time.​

​​Appeals Process - CLOSED

 

• If you feel you have grounds for an appeal, please click this link for our Schools Appeal Form

• Your appeal form should be submitted to Wolverhampton City Council, not to the school.

• The deadline for appeals to reach Wolverhampton City Council was 27th March 2026.

• Appeals were heard by an independent panel in June 2026

• Appellants were invited to attend the appeal, in person, or online on the day

​

Late applications are those where the parents of a candidate have not registered with the school by 4pm on 26th June 2026. All late candidates will be tested and we request that you contact us on admissions@wghs.org.uk

 

​Please note that if you are considering any of the other West Midlands Partnership Schools for your daughter, you must carefully read their admission arrangements to understand if they will accept a late application. All of the schools within the partnership operate their own admission arrangements. Being accepted to sit a late test at WGHS does not automatically mean that a late test result will be considered by any other school.
