A Level Results 2017



Congratulations to all of our students on their personal accomplishments in securing excellent A Level results.  The pass rate was 100% A*-E with an impressive 79% of entries at A*-B and a staggering 51% of entries at grades A/A*. Thirty two students achieved the fantastic outcome of gaining A*s and A grades in all their subjects. 

One of our students, our outgoing Head Girl, Olivia Westwood achieved a fabulous 5A* grades and will be going on to study Mathematics at Birmingham.  Whilst Jiachen Wang achieved 4A* grades and will be reading Mathematics and Economics at LSE.

A further nine students achieved 3A* grades amongst their results and these students include:


Rachel Kean, going on to study Geography and Spanish at Leeds

Megan Reidy  going on to study English at Cambridge

Alice Walters going on to study English at Exeter

Leah Kandha going on to study Dentistry at Kings College London

Christina Marino going on to study Medicine at Leicester

Aaminah Mohammed going on to study Medicine at UCL

Ashleigh Morgan going on to study Bio -Chemistry at Oxford

Mylan Rai going on to study Law at UCL


Headteacher, Mrs Trudi Young expressed her pride in the students.  “This year’s A Level results are superb and the culmination of two years’ hard work and dedication by the students.  Our girls have given so much to the school community and grown as young women over the last two years in so many ways.  I am so pleased that they now leave with such fantastic results, testament to their commitment. I am also extremely appreciative of the support given to the students from both staff in school and families at home. Our students leave with our very best wishes for the future.

Most popular destinations this year include ten students going on to study medicine, eight studying Law and five studying dentistry.
