Return to School - Covid-19

In line with government guidance, it is essential that you stay at home if any of the following apply to you:

  • If you are experiencing any of the following Coronavirus symptoms:

o a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)

o a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)

o a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

  • If you have experienced any of the above symptoms in the last ten days and are therefore still isolating.

  • If you have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace and are isolating.

  • If a member of your household is experiencing symptoms of Covid-19 and you are therefore isolating.

  • If you have returned from countries subject to quarantine in the last 14 days as set out in the government guidance: coronavirus (COVID-19): how to self-isolate when you travel to the UK.
