Outstanding GCSE Results at Wolverhampton Girls’ High School!

We are delighted to announce that our students have achieved outstanding GCSE results this year! These results reflect our student’s resilience, hard work, and dedication to their studies from Years 7-11; along with our wonderful teaching staff’s commitment to our students’ education at WGHS.  These results follow the exceptional A Level results we announced last week.

GCSE Results 2025

• 50% of results at grades 8 & 9 

• 72% of results at grades 9-7

Key Highlights:

• 411 Grade 9 results awarded

• 887 Grade 9 or 8 results awarded

• 72% of our students achieved Grade 9-8 in Geography

• 70% of RS students achieved Grade 9-8 

• 83% of Food Prep and Nutrition students achieved Grade 9-7

• 79% of Maths students achieved Grade 9-7 

• 78% of Latin Students achieved Grade 9-7 

• 77% of Chemistry students achieved Grade 9-7 

A huge congratulations to Dori, Isha and Gurroop who achieved the incredible feat of earning all Grade 9’s, well done to you all!
