WGHS Music Department and Parents’ Guild invites you to an evening of festive fun as we present to you our annual ‘Punch and Carols’ performance.
Doors will open at 6:30pm, where you will be able to purchase raffle tickets for our charity raffle and browse our Parents’ Guild Christmas Craft Stall. Purchases on the night will be cash only. Upon arrival, there will be informal live music performed by our instrumental students as you take your seats. The performance will commence at 7:00pm with an approximate end time of 8:30pm.
There will be a short interval during the performance where you will be able to enjoy your complimentary festive treats.
Students from all year groups have been working hard to perform in the following ensembles on the following evenings:
Wednesday 7th December will include performances from our Junior Choir, Intermediate Strings, Concert Band, Musical Theatre, Brass Band, Flute Choir and Symphony Orchestra.
Thursday 8th December will include performances from our Senior Choir, String Orchestra, Jazz Band, Musical Theatre, Rock & Pop, Vocal Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra.
Each night is sure to be an enjoyable sell-out performance. As seating is limited, we ask that you book your tickets promptly to ensure you attend on your preferred evening. Please note, tickets will not be available to purchase on the door.
